What is the mars needs women trope exactly? Well, it means that for some reason (usually it’s been some kind of chemical warfare or disease) that the alien species male population vastly outnumbers their female population. Often, whatever has cause such a disparity between genders has also rendered the females infertile (although, not always). This means that the race is dying out and…they need women. And voila! Guess what Earth has…women!

In our recommendations we have some sci fi romance books featuring the mars needs women trope to get you started!
